It's time to say goodbye!

As many of you will already know, the modern era is renowned for it's sleek technology and pristine logic. We as humans, are known among ourselves as being amazing thinkers. What does thinking lead to? Invention. What does invention lead to? VIDEO GAMES! and because of this specific invention a very special group of games were created, what would I call it, how can I explain it?
Hmm, yes, I would proudly call it a second life to me.
This is not one of the those super sad "Live another life" thingy mi bobs, but it certainly is my place to relax
after a hard day of being a stroppy teenager.

Have you figured out what I'm talking about yet? If you haven't, you are obviously not a TES fan, so most of this will be awkward gibberish, but for those we know the series, enjoy!

So there I was, plodding around town, a lonely simpleton walking by his Mother.
At the time I was only 10 years old and had recently required one of those new, snazzy PS3's all the kids were talking about, and what comes with new consoles? New games!
I tugged my Mum down to the local CEX (Gamestop) and gave the shelf a quick scan.
It's wasn't too long before noticing a rather oddly shaped "n" with a curios dot resting in between the letter, so I pulled it down from the shelf and examined it. The games called "OBLIVION" ,the back of the case read of some demon spawn entering a perfect world or whatever, that some balance had been broken, who cared? I wanted to slice zombies and earn gold, so I rushed over to my less enthusiastic Mum who paid for the game, and took me home a happy boy.

It was when I got home that I thought I had made a huge mistake, the interface was confusing, the way the first few characters spoke was overwhelming and just too much for my little mind to take.
I therefore promptly ejected the disc and returned to my world of Fifa and CoD.

It was around this time when I discovered the old Oblivion copy I had down the side of my games shelf, long forgotten, never remembered.
I had quickly advanced in brain capability since the last time, as I was now in my first year of Comprehensive!
A new big world, just across the road from the doctors that contained more mysteries than my childhood toy chest, but back on topic, I thought to myself
"You know what? I think I might give this another shot"
And by god it was the best decision of my life to date. From the go I was blown away by the opening cut scene, the character creation and the depth of the Characters, I guess so much can change in the space of a year, eh?

My first saved game of OBLIVION will always be my remembered, I was finding my feet in this epic. As soon as I left the starter sewer, I was hit back by a landscape so beautifully made with such care, I honestly just sat there, controller in hand, feeling completely immersed in a whole new world. The name of my new World? Cyrodill! Home to the Imperials and the centered most province of the continent of Tamriel. I shall not delve too deep into the Geography and Lore of these games, I will let you find out the magic yourself, but most of you should already be acquainted with this basic TES knowledge.

As I was saying, the game was breathtaking, immersive, immensely huge! And the best part was I must have only been playing a few months, and I still had more than half of this vast world to explore.

The death of this Character came when I decided to cheat my newly found religion. I certain bug in the game called "The duplication glitch" was found in the game, concerning the magic scrolls plus one item. At the time I did something rather stupid, I attempted to duplicate 45 lock picks, and lock picks are known to cause the game serious lag when duplicated. During the process, I panicked and saved over my only save, and then to my horror, the game crashed.
I smiled to myself and whispered under my breath, good old quick save! and re loaded, only to be greeted by another crashed game.
MY LIFE WAS OVER! 85 hours of game play, wasted right before my eyes, over some stupid metal stick to help me steal things.
It was then, a few weeks later, my PS3 caved in and stopped working (Probably due to the hours out in?)
so I was forced to downgrade to an XBOX60 Elite which came during the Christmas of 08/09.

I  sometimes babble, as my title does suggest , but the game carried on to be a huge part of my life, everyday I would re invent myself as a vibrant character of a vibrant world!
Forever saving dames and killing those god damn mudcrabs! It was during the later years of my experiences, namely the past few months, I have come to realize that this is not the game it used to be. OBLIVION lacked fluency, graphical ability and the draw distance was now a huge off put for me. My once prized possession was slowly  turning to be my deepest enemy, I would try over and over to love it as I used to, but now that SKYRIM is on it's way, it get's harder and harder. My one true love is forever dying, forever becoming a blimp on the edge of Astrobabblers society.

To round this whole Blog up, I am here to say goodbye to OBLIVION, my once Favored game among all, which I am sure will soon lose it reigns to SKYRIM, the home of the battle hardy Nords! I truly do cherish all the loving memories, all of the lost childhood sweat hearts, with many thanks to BGS, and I hope that one day I am struck with an OBLIVION memory loss and can once again, feel the way I did when playing an unknown game as great as this was for first time.

So, OBLIVION, this is my official surrender of you, I played you for the last time, just 2 hours ago, but never again. No more shall I sweep the lands of Cyrodill.

It is now only 1 month and 2 says till the next Elder Scrolls adventure, and I hope to do a little review about it, telling you all if it was the Pant Creamer I expect it to be, but hey!?!? If not, there is always

                                                                    DARK SOULS!

Hmm, so this is Blogspot?

This is just a short introduction to myself and my blog, I will try and keep it as sane and normal as possible, but I can't guarantee anything!

So let's start with me finding this site, eh? Well despite it's popularity, I would never have created a Blog, but I have this friend called Jason, a very good friend if I may so say, he very quickly persuaded me to set up an account, it just took some enthusiasm and time for me to do so, His blog can be found here!

I will now just quickly go over some planned topics I will be likely bringing up during my time writing for this blog, I'll start by saying that it will be mainly surrounding the field of Astronomy and Cosmology.
This is a good time to say that yes, I am a very avid stargazer, I love looking up at the night sky and thinking "What if?", I'll have to admit, and this is without using it an excuse, I am not the wisest of people when it comes to all things advanced and E=Mc(Stupid squared icon!) So some of what I may say, may be wrong. I am going to blame this on my age, if you see any little errors in my Astronomical writings, please don't rage at me, I am only 14!

Haha, enough with the babble, here is a quick list, or summary of topics I will be writing about;

. Astronomy
. Cosmology
. Theory's, often crazy and stupid!
. Music
. Short Stories
. Life problems (Hopefully none will occur!)
. Women!
. Food!

And I'm sure what ever else pops into my head. We shall see....

I will now bid all you good people farewell, and leave you a taster of my music taste, enjoy!
